Paula- Salon Manager
My name’s Paula. I am The One lounge Senior therapist. I’ve had the privilege of working along side Julia through the early days at Pro-Soccer and now presently at the One Lounge. I’ve gained and utilised many new skills and techniques, an array of massage courses including Deep Tissue, Myofascia, and Oncology massage. My passion is massage, and holistic therapies. I won ‘Best Massage Therapist 2019’ at the ‘Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards’ which is something I’m really proud of. I have also devised some of our very popular signature treatments such as Back-Delicious and Luscious-Legs. I love a challenge and love nothing more than to have an hour with a client with knots and back issues, helping to restore their natural alignment. I continue to research and study the spine and how amazing it’s mechanisms are. I love EDS skin Needling and Advanced Blemish Removal too, I find removing the biggest skin tag very therapeutic!! As well as Advanced Blemish Removal, I love Skin Needling and seeing the amazing results over the course of a treatment. In my spare time I’m very family oriented and love my quality time with them. I also recently took up cold water therapy which means I submerge myself in icy water, lakes and rivers for a host of benefits which truely invigorate mind and body! I also love transforming eyebrows and eyelashes, with Brow Lamination being a massive thing in 2020, the results are incredible. I love a good laugh with clients and friends and in the salon it’s such a lovely atmosphere, going to work is just a joy.This year I hope to continue my journey with the One Lounge and see our salon grow and flourish again whilst welcoming clients old and new!
Lorna - Hairdresser
Hi I’m Lorna, one of the hairdressers in the salon. I studied at City of Glasgow College achieving a HNC level and have 10 years experience in the industry. I have been lucky to be a part of The One Lounge family for 3 years now. The favourite part of my job is working with my clients, to create unique looks that they feel great in! I love keeping up with new hair trends and being able to offer on location styling for weddings
Lisa-Marie - Hairdresser
My colour work is something I take pride in. I love trying out new colours and techniques.i like keeping up to date with both my colours and also different styles with my cuts . My cuts range from long styles to short and even gent cuts . I specialise in doing big bouncy blow drys which I have done a lot of since starting at the one lounge they are great for nights out, special occasions or just to feel and look glam . I also offer hair ups for special occasions in or out the salon.
I have also recently qualified in hair extensions which I am excited to introduce the tape method into the salon.
I am always looking for new way to expand my knowledge on hair and broadening my experience with different training courses .
Julia Eeles - Beauty Therapist/Skin Specialist
My name is Julia and I am a beautician and Make-up artist and have been in the industry for over 16 years. I love my job and the fact that every day is different. I am a total skin geek and therefore love providing all skin treatments but in particular using our advance techniques such as our skin needling and chemical peels. I’ve suffered with acne my whole life and love able to help people really struggling with their skin. I also specialise in bridal and evening make- up and have travelled all over the world supporting couples on heir biggest day. Our One Lounge family is so unique we inspire and support each other and coming to work is like a night in with the girls. Our clients our part of that family. I’ve had many of the same clients since I began my career 16 years ago. When I’m not in the salon I teach for Glasgow Clyde college and love inspiring the future generation of therapists. My favourite treatment to have is a skin SOS treatment. To see my skin at it’s optimum post treatment is something that never gets old.
Joanne McIntyre- Beauty therapist /Nail tech
I have been in the beauty industry for ten years and have been with The One Lounge since we opened 5 years ago. I am also a qualified lecturer in beauty and I graduated university five years ago.
Although I’m qualified in most aspects of beauty, I specialise mostly in nails. Nails are definitely my passion and I love nothing more than a client bringing me a photo of something to challenge me! I love CND shellac and Calgel as the products are amazing and are professional only brands. Along with nails I also love waxing and have done specialist training in Lycon hot wax and HD brows.
I absolutely love my job and working in a salon that has a great atmosphere and energy to it along with the most amazing loyal clients. My work family are the best and there is definitely never a dull day!
Gillian Mitchell - Beauty therapist/Skin and massage specialist
With 21 years in the beauty industry, I feel extremely blessed to be part of such an amazing & ever changing industry. I have over the years worked as a therapist for others & also owned my own business & recently before I joined The One Lounge I worked for Dermalogica as a business development consultant. After having my 2 kids realised the travelling was too much and I had the pull of wanting to be back in the treatment room. I have worked at The One Lounge for almost 4 years & work with such a talented bunch of therapists & hairdressers. I love making people feel great with our relaxation treatments & love being in the relaxation space downstairs with the candles on & chilled music. Our signature treatments are amongst some of my favourites. Whether it be back pain, problem, skin issue or to de-stress, it gives me such pleasure to see my clients leave the salon feeling better & knowing I helped in some way. With this in mind I decided I would love to gain my Reiki qualification & help people with stress, anxiety, sleep & overall wellness. I recently gained my Reiki 1 and working towards Reiki 2. I also love working with the Lycon hot wax & intimate waxing. Anything to make waxing less painful & more bearable. I look forward to making you feel amazing soon.

I’m Cheryl and I have been in the beauty industry for 16 years and part The One Lounge team for 4 years now.
I first started here specialising in Lashes and beauty but also being fully qualified in treatments from threading to massage.
Since starting with The One Lounge the training I have received has been phenomenal, I have gained so much more knowledge and understanding - I have grown in confidence because of that advancing my skill set to include and now specialise in advanced technologies such as Laser hair removal, micro needling and peels.
I love performing all ranges of treatments and making everyone feel at ease and relaxed as well as supporting them through their one lounge journey whatever that may be but I have a new found love for laser and the results you can achieve from veins, hair reduction and skin rejuvenation!
Catriona Berry - Beauty therapist/Skin specialist
Hi my names Catriona but I’m more known as Cat. I am a mother of 3 very energetic boys that keep me well and truly on my toes. I have worked in the one lounge for almost 6 years now and I couldn’t be happier working with the best team, I love my job and I love The One Lounge the girls have became my friends and I love been at work with them and seen my clients regularly. One of my favourite treatments is doing anything involving brows, eyebrow wax/tint, HD Brows, brow lamination and I am looking to expand my skills further and hoping to learn and offer microblading. I also love doing facials and pedicures but really I enjoy every treatment that I can offer. I love how different each day at my work can be, from eyebrow waxing to then doing a facial then going to the nail bar to then doing a pedicure or massage.
Cheryl Galloway - Beauty therapist/lash and brow tech
Ive been a therapist at the one lounge for just under two years now, and love everything about working in such an amazing salon with the best group of girls! I enjoy carrying out all treatments we have to offer but I would say I most love doing brow and eye treatments such as Brow Laminations, lash lifts, waxing and tints as I just love the instant transformation it can give a clients. I also concentrate on doing nails from a simple polish to Calgel extensions, it always fun getting creative with designs and ideas clients have and we all love having a good chat and catch up at the nail bar! My favourite treatment to have is a deep tissue massage or a skin treatment, I always sleep like a baby afterwards!
Jenna Murray - Makeup artist / Beauty therapist and nail tech
Hi I’m Jenna and I am a Makeup artist / Beautician, I have been here at The One Lounge for 2 and a half years now. My main passion is Makeup, I started off qualifying in HND Makeup artistry and I love nothing more than getting everyone all glam for special occasions and weddings! Making people look and feel good is definitely someone I love seeing and take pride in.
During my time at The One lounge I have started training in so much more which is amazing to be keeping on top of the trends with the best products, its exciting to start offering new treatments from all things nails especially with a bit of nail art, lashes, hair styling and brows there really is something out there for everyone!
My personal favourite treatment to have is builder nails, I love how it strengthens my natural nails and I enjoy letting the staff be creative with their nail art skills and trying out all the crazy colours on me.
